Currently we offer a short 3 day/2 night residential trip in Years 5 and 6. We hope all children will go on these trips which help develop independence and confidence. In line with guidance from both the Department of Education and Essex County Council, the School will levy a charge for accommodation unless parents are in receipt of certain benefits (details from the School Office). To help in budgeting, the School arranges a payment card system to enable the costs to be paid in instalments.
Mole Class are heading to Flatford Mill in March and Owl Class are due to visit Stubbers Activity and Adventure Centre in July. A report on the trips will be displayed below when available.
Here’s a taster of what our previous trips were like:
On Wednesday 28th June the moment had finally arrived for Year 6 to go on their residential trip to Stubbers Adventure Centre. We were all excited to do the amazing activities.
Mole Class at Flatford Mill
We hope that Mole Class enjoy packing for their residential visit to Flatford Mill next week. Please remember to hand in any medicine to Mrs Halliday.
They have all arrived safely, had a very busy day so far, canoeing, banana boat rides, team challenges and bush crafts, but most of all enjoying the sun.
