Special Assemblies

We enjoy inviting parents in for special assemblies. These include:

  • Harvest
  • Christmas
  • Easter
  • Mother’s Day
  • Leavers’ Assembly

Here are some we have held previously:

Keyboard and Stave House assembly

On Tuesday 18th July we had a keyboard and singing assembly. Miss Plumb organised the assembly to show the school what the children have been learning in the term.

General Election

Following a whole school assembly all about the General election, Owl class researched the manifestos of the main political parties. After reading the manifestos and having a class discussion about them, we then had a secret ballot using ballot papers.

Author Visit

On Wednesday, Jack Trelawny, an author of adult and children’s books visited us. He said being an author is a great thing to do.

Junkman Assembly

On Thursday we were treated to an extraordinary assembly from the Junk Man. He unloaded his van of junk into the school hall and then put on his multi-coloured coat.
